Super Demo World: The Legend Continues/Goals/Star Road

IMPORTANT: It is very important to note that the Star Road levels are meant to be completed in a certain manner. First, the normal exit should be taken, and then the secret area. If you do not do things in this manner, you won’t be able to complete the Star Road. And if you do this in the Bowser Star Road level, well… you won’t be able to access a lot of DW:TLC’s best features. So take heed.

[edit] Misty Star World Secret Exit

Go through the level as normal until you are given a choice to take the “upper” or “lower” path – when you reach the first one of those blocks that lets you run up a wall. Don’t take that route. Instead, use your fire flower to smash through the ice blocks, but stay low near the ground. Then switch to the cape and smash through the destructible blocks. Be sure to hit the 5th block from the bottom in the very right-hand column – this block contains a star. Get the star and continue on in the level, hitting all the “?” blocks to get more stars. Eventually you will reach a block with a P-block inside. Carry the P-block with you, don’t use it. Go on the upper path, on top of the dangerous black plants with your star. Keep on the upper path with your P-block until you reach the key. Then try to juggle the key and P-block, hitting them both up the “stairs” of blocks until you reach the end. When the keyhole is in sight, hit the P-block to change the wall of blocks into coins so that you can take the key to the keyhole.

[edit] Desert Star World Secret Exit

NEED: Cape

Go through the level until you reach the place with the jumping blocks, right before the second blue pipe (if you went in the first blue pipe, you’ll exit here.) You’ll notice a bunch of destructible blocks above you. Use your cape to smash the blocks below in order to create a runaway with which you can fly up and reach the key located in the middle of the blocks above. Once you have the key, continue up the slope to the right until you reach the top. At the top, fall down the second pit to reach a corridor that leads to the keyhole.

[edit] Water Star World Secret Exit

At the very beginning of the level, swim up the left-hand wall as fast as you can in order to reach a gray P-block and star. Pick up the gray P-block and take the star. Continue through the level as normal, making sure to hit all the “?” blocks and taking the stars within. Eventually, you’ll reach the normal exit to the water area, signified by a wall of electric jellyfish and blue pipe. But with your invincibility, you can swim under this wall to reach a new area. Continue along this path, trying to stay near the top. Eventually, you’ll find the key, surrounded by electric jellyfish. Use your P-block here and grab it (or, if you have a Yoshi, you can avoid needing the P-block entirely and just use his tongue to grab it.) Then take the key to the keyhole at the end of the level.

[edit] Crystal Star World Secret Exit

At the beginning of this level, fall down the second pit that leads to a corridor that leads to a P-block. Grab it and take it with you. Go through the level until you reach a series of small platforms that you have to jump from one to another to that generally rise up and then fall back down again. At the very top of these platforms there are two pits. Fall down the one on the right and use your P-block to change the blocks into coins and open the path to the keyhole. Now go back to the beginning of the level and fall down the first pit to find the key. Bring the key back to the keyhole to exit the level.

[edit] Sky Star World Secret Exit

Grab the Lakitu’s cloud towards the beginning of the level and take it as far as you can. Eventually you’ll reach a point where you have to abandon it (when you get to the red angled thing that lets you run up walls.) The next part is kind of tricky. You have to get some momentum going in the cloud (by pressing up) so that when you jump out, it floats straight up. Then quickly run up the wall and jump back in the cloud at the top of the cliff. Then you can take the cloud to the right. As soon as you can, go straight down to reach a small place with some baseball chucks and a hammer brothers guarding a “?” block. Hit the “?” block to get a key, and then take the key back to the left in your cloud. Stay towards the ceiling, and eventually you’ll encounter the keyhole.

[edit] Ice Star World Secret Exit

NEED: Cape

At the beginning of the level, fly straight up to find the key resting on top of a tree. Then head through the level as normal until you reach a place where you have to jump from platform to platform of frozen coins. Fall down at the edge of the cliff here to reach a lower path that will lead you to the keyhole.

[edit] Pipe Star World Secret Exit

Go through the level until you reach a point with five vertical pipes next to eachother. Make sure you either have a shell with you or a cape. Take the fourth one from the left to get to the next passage. To the right, there is a destructible block. Use your shell or cape to smash it, and go through the small passage to the right to find the key in a "?" block. Take the key through the level until the very end, right before the goal. Drop down the pit before the goal and fall to the left to reach a pipe that will lead to the keyhole.

[edit] Bowser's Star World Secret Exit

NEED: Super Mushroom

Take the skull raft, as normal, until you reach the area with the gray blocks above the lava. When you get to the third set of theses blocks - the one with the winged goombas walking down the side - do NOT go on this platform, but instead follow the skull raft until it. Smash the block down here to get the key. Fall down the next pit (with the dragon coin) to reach a pipe that leads to the upper part of the level. Get the cape here if you don't have one already, and fly all the way to the left with the key to reach the secret exit.

[edit] Backdoor Star World Secret Exit

Go through the level, taking note of what color the "!" blocks are (or their outlines, if you don't have the appropriate switch palace activated.) On the long platform between the red blocks and the blue blocks, if you wait, you will see a "?" block moving along with the spiked columns. There are some invisible coin blocks below the "?" block, so jump to reveal those. Then, when the "?" block appears, jump to hit it and reveal the key. Then quickly duck (if you're super mario) and jump onto the block to get the key, and then frantically jump while ducking to get off the block before it rises again and crushes you. This is tough to do and may require a few tries. Continue through this area, past the door, until the end, where you see the keyhole. Jump down to it and hit it in midair with the key to get the secret exit.

[edit] Secret Star World Normal Exit

NEED: Cape

You can use the cape to smash through the blocks all the way to the end. Just have patience. Beware of the jumping blocks.

[edit] Secret Star World Secret Exit

NEED: Grey block item (goomba, any color koopa), Cape, Yoshi, all 4 switch palaces complete

Make sure you have an enemy (koopa or goomba) in your item block when you enter this world. Use your cape at the beginning to fly up through the blocks (use a flying spin jump) and then head to the upper-lefthand corner of the level. You will find here a small room with a block surrounded by two enemy-only blocks. Use the enemy you have on reserve to hit this block and reveal the key. Smash your way to the right until you see a block in between two used blocks. Go back and get Yoshi, and carry the key in his mouth. BE SURE TO KEEP HIM FROM EATING THE KEY. Put the key on one side of the three blocks, then stand with Yoshi on the other side. Grab the key with Yoshi's tongue. The key will hit the block in the middle and a star will pop out of it. You can (and probably should) leave Yoshi behind as you take the key and run through the plants. Keep grabbing stars out of lone blocks until you reach the keyhole.
