Near the start of the level, when you're given the opportunity to turn outlines into solid ! Blocks to cover three muncher pits, don't do so. Rather, jump across the pits without the ! Blocks activated. When you come to three yellow pipes, notice the Star Trinket and fall down through the outlines to collect a blue coin and reach a pipe. Enter the pipe to be taken to an underground maze. At the crossroads, go left and then down to find the key and keyhole.
