The Ninji Saga is a Super Mario World hack created by The Kins which features a Ninji as the hero. According to its readme, the most recent version was released on May 8, 2005. It has ten levels and features many graphical changes. The story follows a Ninji who is taken from Sub-Con and works his way through a futuristic structure. He must pass through many simulated environments along the way.
