Tutorial:Applying IPS patches

Due to IPS patches only containing the things you've changed in the game, not the game itself, you have to apply the patch to a ROM. To do this, one needs an IPS patcher program such as Lunar IPS, which is the program used in this tutorial.

After you've downloaded Lunar IPS, open it and click on "Apply IPS Patch". Find and select the IPS patch you want to use, then the ROM you want to apply it to.

After the patching is complete, play the ROM to test if the patch worked.

(Note that hacks requires the ROM it's applied to to be clean.)
